NORMONT EQUIPMENT CO. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT NOW HIRING
Great Falls, MT | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM Since 1947, NorMont Equipment Co. has been Montana's trusted source for municipal, construction, and truck equipment. We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to keep our front office and bookkeeping operations running as reliably as the equipment we sell. You'll be the first voice callers hear, and you'll play a key role in our accounts receivable, accounts payable, and daily accounting routines. WHAT YOU'LL DO FRONT OFFICE & ADMINISTRATION
▪ Answer a multi-line phone system professionally and direct callers to the right department or extension
▪ Greet customers and visitors as needed
▪ Maintain an electronic filing system — scan and save documentation to the proper folders
▪ Keep company labels, documents, and customer and vendor correspondence files up to date
▪ Manage office supply and break room inventory — order and shop for supplies as needed
BOOKKEEPING & ACCOUNTING SUPPORT
▪ Email or mail accounts receivable invoices daily
▪ Enter daily deposits and credit card receipts
▪ Reconcile company credit cards to verify all receipts have been turned in
▪ Maintain and update accounts receivable and accounts payable contact information
▪ Run a weekly AR report and send it to your supervisor for review
▪ Verify vendor invoices against inventory amounts
▪ Assist with other clerical duties and projects as assigned
▪ Potential to cross-train on payroll, tax reporting, and related duties over time
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
▪ Previous office or administrative assistant experience preferred
▪ Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and manage time wisely
▪ Ability to multitask and take direction from management
▪ Self-directed — comfortable working with minimal supervision at times
▪ Strong written and verbal communication skills
▪ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
▪ Working knowledge of standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines
▪ A friendly disposition, professional appearance, and sharp attention to detail
SCHEDULE, PAY & BENEFITS
▪ Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Physical Demands:
This is a mostly sedentary position; however, it may require some lifting, bending, and standing for certain periods of time.
