Full Job Description Dental Assistant/ Front Office Coordinator Duties:
  • Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the dental facility
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate team member
  • Schedule appointments for patients and manage the appointment calendar
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
  • Create insurance predeterminations
  • Maintain patient records and update necessary information
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing, and scanning documents
  • Ensure a clean and organized reception area
  • Dental assistant must be able to maintain clean fully stocked operatories, take legible radiographs and demonstrate competency in assisting in different general dentistry procedures.
Coronal Polishing certification a plus.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus This position requires working in a fast-paced environment.
