Administrative Assistant - Garner The Summit Church - 4.6 Garner, NC Job Details Part-time 10 hours ago Qualifications Confidential information handling Financial data management Quality data entry Full Job Description Summary of Position The Administrative Assistant supports the ministry's vision through administrative, operational, and logistical support for the Garner campus. Qualifications and Requirements Administrative gifting; strong organizational skills; detail-oriented and efficient Ability to communicate clearly and professionally Excellent written and verbal skills Gifted in data entry and tracking Anticipates needs and manages time well; ability to multitask numerous projects Discretion in handling personal and/or confidential information Preferred proficiency in Google Suite and quick learner of other digital systems A member of the Summit Church or willing and able to become a member Personal integrity and evidence of ongoing spiritual growth, as required of all church employees (church attendance, small group membership, tithing, etc). Responsibilities Offer support to the Campus Pastor, including calendar and financial reconciliations Help with budget tracking and maintenance and submit reimbursements Coordinate campus communication management via the Rock (Summit website and database), email, phone, and mail Participate in weekly staff meetings, offering input and ideas that help any and all aspects of the ministry Monitor/Assign campus mailbox pickup and drop-off Follow up on baptism connection requests and enter baptisms into the database Create campus-specific rotating slides for weekend services from Canva templates Feature campus events on the Summit website Request background checks and request the creation of lanyards on behalf of ministries Print materials for weekend services and campus events, as needed Campus calendar management, including submitting room reservations Order supplies and catering, as needed for campus events Be a point person between the campus team and ministry support or central staff (central admins, HR, Finance, Digital Strategy, etc.) Expected participation in admin training and development. This position is expected to be 20 hours per week. As a church that meets in many locations, Summit holds church-wide events throughout the year to do whatever it takes to reach all people. All staff members are expected to serve at these church-wide events, regardless of their position. Such events include, but are not limited to: Easter services, church-wide prayer meetings, Good Friday service, and Christmas services. Serving expectations will be communicated in advance of each event and, when possible, staff are given the opportunity to select the area in which they would like to serve
