Description:
This full-time position offers an exceptional work-life balance with a schedule of 36-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday , no weekends , no holidays , & one afternoon off each week .
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Greet patients with a pleasant personality, manage phones, schedule appointments, document, and chart management, collect payments and manage referrals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and make patients feel comfortable being here Assist nurse with patient arrivals and departures Answer and direct all incoming phone calls Document messages regarding patient care in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for our providers and clinical team Schedule appointments using computerized system Accept payments Coordinate handling of accounts with the Business office as needed Verify and update patient demographics and insurance coverage Manage the flow of medical records, patient charts and other documents Generate and manage appointment listings and reports Help patients with follow-up appointments, referrals, scheduling testing in other locations and any other assistance the patient needs Assist in keeping the office efficient, clean and organized To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the above listed essential duties satisfactorily. Minimum education: High School Diploma/ GED
