Job Description

The Administrative Assistant is a vital part of our team, contributing to the success of both ongoing and new government programs by providing essential support from start to finish, all under the guidance of the experienced R&D Manager. This exciting role offers a variety of administrative tasks, including processing purchase requisitions, coordinating signature collections, and keeping records accurate and well-organized. Beyond these duties, the assistant plays a crucial role in boosting compliance and operational efficiency by managing key documents and tracking important program milestones. Additionally, this position supports the careful management of the company's government-related contracts, making sure every requirement connected to product sales and development is smoothly handled, monitored, and completed throughout the entire process.
Responsibilities:
Support of maintaining company registrations (SAM.gov, JCP, CAGE code, etc.) Manage program billings by assembling necessary documentation and ensuring timely submission. Support program and contract execution by ensuring timely completion of milestones, monitoring compliance with requirements, and coordinating with teams to procure and track necessary consumables and equipment on a per-program basis. Maintain organized records of all contracts and related documents. Track contract renewal dates, terminations, and modifications. Manage and track use of government property, track government timesheets etc. as required by the program. Requirements A High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Contracts Administration or Contract Management A minimum of 3 years working with Government contracts Preferably, 2 years of experience within the manufacturing industry is a plus
Contract Drafting and Review:
precise contract terms and conditions. Strong skills in reviewing contracts to identify risks, ambiguities, and inconsistencies. Lead a collaborative environment with strong subject matter expertise. Effectively communicate contract terms and obligations to internal stakeholders and external parties.
