Office Assistant / Administrative Assistant (Healthcare | AI-Savvy) About the Role We are seeking a highly organized, tech-forward Office Assistant / Administrative Assistant to join our medical practice in Salem, NH. This role is ideal for someone with healthcare office experience who is comfortable using AI tools to work smarter, faster, and more efficiently . No degree required. Skills, experience, and mindset matter most. Key Responsibilities Front-office administrative support in a healthcare setting Scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating patient flow Answering phones, handling patient inquiries, and providing excellent customer service Managing medical office documentation, forms, and records (EHR experience preferred) Using AI tools to assist with: Documentation and drafting communications Workflow optimization and task automation Data organization and administrative efficiency Insurance verification, referrals, and basic billing support (experience preferred) General office management and day-to-day administrative tasks Required Skills & Experience Prior healthcare office experience (medical, clinic, or doctor's office required) Strong administrative and organizational skills Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and confidentiality (HIPAA awareness) Strongly Preferred (Big Plus) Advanced comfort with AI tools (ChatGPT, automation tools, AI scheduling, AI documentation, etc.) Experience with EHR systems Tech-savvy and quick learner with new software Problem-solver mindset—able to streamline workflows, not just follow them Education No degree required Real-world experience, skill set, and adaptability are far more important Schedule & Compensation Full-Time or Part-Time available Pay rate based on experience , aligned with standard Administrative Assistant compensation Stable, professional healthcare work environment Who Will Thrive in This Role Someone who enjoys blending healthcare administration + modern technology A proactive self-starter who finds better, faster ways to get things done An organized professional who values efficiency, accuracy, and patient experience Join us as an Administrative Assistant where your energy fuels our success!
