Are you looking for a seasonal job position? We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Office Assistant to become a vital part of our company. This 6-month job is from May 1st to October 31st. As an Office Assistant, you will be the backbone of our office operations, ensuring that everything runs seamlessly so our marine technicians can focus on what they do best. Whether you're coordinating schedules, managing communications, or helping with documentation, your efforts will directly contribute to the success of our team. Responsibilities Manage phone calls, emails, and other communications efficiently and professionally Coordinate schedules and appointments for team members Organize and maintain office filing systems, both digital and physical Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports, memos, and other documents Support the logistics team with paperwork and data entry related to marine operations Order and manage office supplies to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning Greet and assist visitors, providing a friendly and welcoming office environment Collaborate with various departments to facilitate communication and project coordination Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus Previous experience in an office environment, preferably within the maritime or logistics industry Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) A friendly and approachable demeanor with a customer service mindset Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to handle daily office challenges
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
