Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for a real estate development organization in Fort Lee, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, communicative, and comfortable handling both administrative coordination and front-desk support. The person in this role will help maintain orderly records, review documentation for relevance, and assist with routine office tasks that keep the team running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital files to support efficient document access and recordkeeping.
  • Review office documents, sort materials by importance, and identify items that should be retained or set aside.
  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry and routine clerical tasks for the team.
  • Answer incoming calls professionally, direct inquiries appropriately, and relay messages in a timely manner.
  • Support reception coverage by greeting visitors and assisting with front-desk activities as needed.
  • Help ensure office information is accurate, current, and easy for internal teams to locate.
  • Communicate clearly with staff and external contacts to support smooth day-to-day operations.
