The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. As an Administrative Assistant supporting the Autism Registry, you'll play an important role in ensuring registrations are completed accurately, records are maintained, and families are connected with appropriate resources. Your attention to detail and consistent follow-through will help support compliance and ensure families receive timely assistance. As an Administrative Assistant, a typical day might include the following: Processing and validating New Jersey Autism Registration Information Forms using Epic and other databases. Entering registration information into BDARS and maintaining accurate records in Epic and Excel. Communicating with families regarding the registration process and documenting outreach. Partnering with the Autism Social Worker to coordinate referrals and additional resources for families. Running reports and reviewing patient records to identify newly diagnosed children and verify registration status. Conducting monthly audits to ensure eligible children are registered and appropriately referred. Ensuring registrations meet New Jersey Department of Health requirements while maintaining strict patient confidentiality. Identifying and resolving discrepancies and supporting other Autism Program activities as assigned. Schedule:
Day shift, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, Full-Time 40 hours per week To be considered for this opportunity, you must have experience with data entry, healthcare coordination, or administrative work , along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and electronic medical records such as Epic . A Bachelor's degree is preferred, as is knowledge of autism diagnoses and related care pathways. Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
