Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Records Support Technician 1 to join our Administrative team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our document management systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting archival processes. This position requires strong organizational skills and a passion for maintaining high standards of document integrity and accessibility. Duties Receives, retrieves and sorts documents, papers, forms and other materials in accordance with established policies, procedures and guidelines. Assists with the preparation, organization, and maintenance of administrative files, reports, correspondence, and other Administration records. Handles municipal records and information with appropriate confidentiality and discretion. Provides courteous and professional assistance to Borough employees, departments, officials, and members of the public within established administrative procedures. Follows Borough policies, administrative procedures, records-management requirements, and applicable laws and regulations. Assists authorized personnel with locating records and information needed for administrative purposes, audits, legal matters, or other official Borough business. Qualifications and Requirements Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. A driver's license valid in New Jersey is required only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.

Applicants may be required to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in Spanish and English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. Preferred Skills Knowledge of office routines, procedures, policies, guidelines, and equipment used to check, sort, index, store, and file records after a period of training. Ability to work effectively with the team, supervisors, directors, and comfortable with handling questions or concerns with constituents of the public concerned.
