Job Description

Faber, Coe & Gregg, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Construction Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our Construction Department. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a commercial construction environment and will be comfortable communicating with vendors, contractors, and internal departments. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate records, obtaining pricing and lead-time information, tracking bids and proposals, and supporting the timely completion of construction projects. Key Responsibilities Perform accurate and timely data entry in support of Construction Department operations. Communicate with vendors to obtain material pricing, product availability, and lead-time information. Follow up with contractors and vendors regarding outstanding proposals, bids, and project deadlines. Conduct research on products, materials, contractors, and vendors to support purchasing and project decisions. Maintain organized and accurate construction-related records and documentation. Communicate professionally with vendors, contractors, and internal team members. Assist with tracking open projects, proposals, and outstanding items. Provide general administrative support to the Construction Department as needed. Qualifications Previous administrative experience within commercial construction preferred. Knowledge of standard administrative practices and construction-related processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Experience with Procore preferred but not required. Familiarity with construction divisions, building materials, and construction terminology. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow up on outstanding items, and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the department and vendors. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of administrative follow-up. The successful candidate will demonstrate the professionalism and initiative necessary to effectively coordinate with vendors and contractors while helping ensure construction projects remain organized and on schedule.
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
