Job Description

Posting Details Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of closing date. Why does the job exist? This position will provide high-level administrative support by coordinating meetings and travel for the Cabinet Secretary and other OFS staff. How does it get done? Schedule meetings and travel Prepare travel expense reports Coordinate and assemble briefing books for the Cabinet Secretary Plan and coordinate public events Prepare correspondence Receive visitors to the Secretary's office Other duties as assigned. Who are the customers? This position will report to the Deputy Secretary and will support Office of the Secretary (OFS) staff. Ideal Candidate This position will report to the Deputy Secretary and will support Office of the Secretary (OFS) staff. Minimum Qualification High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years work experience in office administration. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience. Employment Requirements Must maintain and possess a current New Mexico Driver's License Working Conditions Computer use, long periods of sitting. Some travel may be required. May require overtime at times - Office setting, exposure to Visual/Video Display terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and telephone usage with extended periods of sitting.
