Job Description

12-month position

DUTIES:

Operate computers / software programs including student management system, Microsoft Word/Excel, electronic email system, fax / photocopy / scan machine, paper shredder, and postage machine. Organizational Systems and Prioritization of daily tasks Greet visitors, answer phone, direct incoming calls, take and forward necessary messages. Input, process and edit student information into electronic databases (ClearTrack/Powerschool) Perform all tasks and processes associated with the timelines of the CSE processes to include but not limited to: Act as an Agency/Therapy Provider/Parent Liaison, Referral document creation, tracking & processing, maintaining building level preschool tracking & records, NYS required reporting & tracking. Keep track of various CSE contracts and formulate monthly billing from 4 counties, agencies and individuals who provide services for students. Cross-check all completed documents for accuracy/compliance. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications Required Must have high school diploma or equivalent

2 years college, with specialization in Secretarial/Business Administration or equivalent clerical experience.

Must be Civil Service approved

Computer skills including MS Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet.

Prospective employees must receive state and federal clearance based on a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check.

Ability to interact positively with community, faculty, staff and students on a daily basis
