Job Description

Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Fiscal Department Clerk to join our administrative team. This position supports the Fiscal Department by assisting with daily accounting and administrative functions while helping ensure the accurate and efficient processing of financial information. Position Summary The Fiscal Department Clerk is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the Business Office / Fiscal Department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts receivable functions. Post payments and maintain accurate financial records. Assist with resident trust accounts and private pay billing. Verify and enter financial data into accounting software. File, scan, and maintain financial documents. Answer telephone calls and assist residents, families, and staff with billing-related inquiries. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence as needed. Maintain confidentiality of resident and financial information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Provide general administrative support to the Business Office / Fiscal Department. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous clerical, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred. Experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
