Business Orange & Rockland $$46.44-$46.44 parental leave, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), employee discount United States, York, Middletown Sep 14, 2026 Under general Supervision performs a variety of clerical work associated with developing new accounts in the Business Services Department. Core Responsibilities

Responsible for the generation of orders for all new and upgrade accounts. This shall establish building/site, customer service drops, meter points and new street addresses.

Must posses and be knowledge of the Construction Services construction/field policies, procedures and tariff rate schedule assignments, as well as workflow as set forth by Company Policy as stated by the Tariff and other Company policies and procedures manuals.

Is responsible for a complete knowledge and understanding of the current operations systems; Customer information Management Systems(CIMS)/Work Management System(WMS) and the working interaction between the two, as well as future systems.

Responsible for the creation of all new customer bill accounts with the exception of component billed lighting. This does not include customer's requiring component lighting that do not already exit in the system.

Maintaining assigned records compiling data, keeping a variety of record filed and supplying required information from such records.

Must be proficient in typing and keyboard work.

Operate all office machines, handle telephone inquiries, make appointments, perform clerical duties as required by the job.

Typing a variety of forms, data tabulations and reports and preparing and reproducing copies as necessary.

Performs duties in accordance with the Company Safety and Good Housekeeping practices. Required Education/Experience

High School Diploma/GED Relevant Work Experience

Less than 2 years One and 1/2 years (18 months) experience as a Construction Accounts Assistant. Required

Should be knowledgeable of basic computer applications (Database management, spreadsheet and work processing). Required

Sound physical condition. Required

Willingness to direct and instruct employees assisting on the same work. Required

Possession of the qualities of neatness, cleanliness, communication skills and orderliness in both the work place and person. Required Licenses and Certifications
