Job Description This position contributes to the objectives of Council's Positive Ageing team by providing administrative and service coordination support to assist the delivery of Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) services across the Adelaide Hills. The role supports older people to remain living independently, safely and well within their community through the efficient coordination of approved services. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate client records and service agreements, supporting service referrals and coordinating requests to approved contractors. The position plays an important role in ensuring services are delivered in a timely, responsive and customer-focused manner while meeting program requirements and Council standards. Service Support Officer (Casual) Key responsibilities include: Maintaining accurate client records, service agreements and related documentation. Contacting clients to complete service agreements, updates and document renewals. Coordinating referrals and service requests to approved contractors. Providing professional customer service and responding to routine enquiries. Supporting the Positive Ageing team with administrative and service coordination tasks. Ensuring compliance with privacy, confidentiality and CHSP requirements About You To be successful in this role you will have: You are an organised administrator with excellent customer service skills and a genuine commitment to supporting older people in the community. You enjoy working as part of a team, communicate confidently with a wide range of people and have a strong attention to detail. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Experience in administration, customer service or service support. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience maintaining accurate records and handling confidential information. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Experience using Microsoft Office and electronic record management systems. A commitment to delivering quality customer service. Experience in community services, aged care, health services or local government will be highly regarded, as will experience with My Aged Care, Alchemy or similar client management systems.
