Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for a manufacturing environment in Amherst, Ohio. This is a Contract position expected to run for approximately 3 to 4 months, with the possibility of longer-term consideration based on business needs. The role is fully office-based and suited for someone who communicates professionally, manages competing priorities well, and is comfortable using business software to keep work moving efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day administrative support by handling office correspondence, organizing documents, and assisting with routine operational tasks. Welcome visitors and serve as a first point of contact for incoming phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members. Enter, update, and maintain records with accuracy across office systems and shared files. Coordinate schedules, meetings, and general office activities to help maintain an efficient workflow. Prepare reports, forms, and other administrative materials needed by the team and leadership. Support a high-volume workload by balancing multiple assignments and adjusting priorities as needed. Use business software applications, including ERP and office tools, to process information and track administrative activity. Assist with onsite office coordination and help maintain continuity of support if work arrangements temporarily shift during an office transition period. Previous experience in an administrative assistant, office support, receptionist, or similar role. Ability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence handling inbound calls and front-office interactions. Strong computer proficiency, including experience with data entry and general business software applications. Comfortable working onsite Monday through Friday, with some scheduling flexibility. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting where workload demands may change throughout the day. Experience supporting office operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment is helpful. Willingness to complete pre-employment screening requirements if requested.
