Job Description
Win for This Role The Avon Campus Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the Avon Campus by coordinating volunteers, assisting with campus operations, supporting ministry events, maintaining communication, and helping create an organized and welcoming environment for staff, volunteers, and guests. This position also provides administrative support for community outreach initiatives under the direction of the Campus Pastor. Campus Administration & Operations Coordinate Dream Team schedules and volunteer communication. Assist with planning and execution of weekly services, Team Nights, and special events. Coordinate facility maintenance requests and monitor campus operational needs. Assist the Campus Pastor with community outreach initiatives and local partnerships. Help manage campus inventory, supplies, and purchasing. Coordinate facility use requests and campus event scheduling. Maintain Planning Center and other ministry databases. Assist with preparation of reports, budgets, and administrative documentation. Administrative & Communication Responsibilities Answer phones and respond to general inquiries. Welcome guests and assist visitors during office hours. Manage calendars and meeting schedules. Prepare correspondence, reports, and ministry communications. Maintain church records and filing systems. Order office and ministry supplies. Coordinate volunteer onboarding paperwork. Utilize Planning Center and other church management software. Support central ministry initiatives and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Strong administrative and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Planning Center (or ability to learn quickly). Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment. Supports the mission, vision, values, and Statement of Faith of Journey Church. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with staff and volunteers.
