Description We are looking for a dependable Shipping / Office Admin to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who wants to build long-term experience in a small, growing business where responsibilities expand with training and time. The position begins with shipping and administrative support, then develops into broader order processing and office coordination work. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to remain productive during both steady and fast-paced periods.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate outgoing domestic and international shipments using parcel and freight services while helping ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare shipping paperwork such as bills of lading, invoices, labels, and related order documents with a high level of accuracy.
- Support order entry and processing activities by learning internal procedures and assisting with transaction updates.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries, communicate shipment details, and help keep records organized for daily operations.
- Provide general administrative support, including handling paperwork, maintaining files, and assisting with routine office tasks.
- Review shipment information and occasionally work in the warehouse to verify packages, check labels, or confirm order details.
- Contribute to smooth day-to-day logistics operations by staying flexible and assisting where business needs shift.
- Learn new processes through hands-on training and ask questions when clarification is needed to complete work correctly. Requirements
- Experience or interest in logistics, shipping, receiving, or administrative support work.
- Ability to manage detailed paperwork and computer-based tasks with consistent accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep documents and shipment information properly maintained.
- Comfortable working in a role that includes both office administration and occasional warehouse support.
- Ability to stay attentive and productive during both slower periods and high-volume activity.
- Willingness to learn order entry, shipping procedures, and related operational tasks through training.
- Clear communication skills and confidence in asking questions to ensure work is completed correctly.
