Job Description

This is a full-time (9-month) position. The position description can be found in its entirety on the Washington State College of Ohio webpage: wsco.edu ( Quick Links - Employment ). Full-time position will start in August of 2026.
Position Purpose:
In collaboration with the Director of Nursing and Program Administrators (PA), the Assistant Program Administrator of Nursing (APAN) facilitates the general operations of the nursing programs. The APAN will provide engaged instruction, course, and student outcomes assessment; and advise and support students. The APAN will engage in professional work to advance the College's mission by participating in institutional advancement, professional development, and community service in the pursuit of excellence. Qualifications -
Education, Experience, Skills:
  • Completion of an approved registered nursing education program.
  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing from a regionally or nationally accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
  • Minimum of at least five years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse. Prior experience as a faculty member in a registered nursing program preferred.
  • Current, valid multistate license as a registered nurse.
  • Evidence of professional development in the field of Nursing.
