Job Description

Position:
Administrative Assistant Status:
Temporary Part-Time (24-32 hours per week)
Hours:
9:00am-2:00pm (can change depending on availability)
Duration:
Approximately 3 Months Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage Customer Service o Provide timely and courteous customer service via phone, walk-in customers, and via email accounts for District. o Transfer calls to correct staff or NRCS o Assist with Information and Contact Us email
  • Bookkeeping responsibilities o Maintain change drawer, verifying monthly o Manage receipt book, receipt in all transactions and give to Operations Coordinator to put in accounting system o Assist in creating monthly warrants for payments and mailing out payments once ready from Auditor o Manages Stamps.com and bulk postage account o Manage the online catalog orders
  • Office Support o Manage supply and equipment orders.
o Opening mail and disbursing properly o Manage administrative and shared files including paper and electronic. Filing maintenance and historical documents o Assists with registration and travel plans for professional development for staff and board o Internal office event planning o Assist with RSVP lists/sign-ups for events through SWCD or outside o Provides support to the Director and Operations Coordinator including assistance with calendar, communications and tracking deadlines o Manage team staff report for board meetings via information from Beehive o Maintaining Staff comradery o Creating cards, planning parties/potlucks, etc. o Maintaining cleanliness of office to keep presentable for the public
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited college with an Associate's Degree (preferably in accounting, business management or related field); or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. This position will use Google Mail, Calendar, and Drive. Ability to create and schedule Zoom meetings. Proof of valid Ohio driver's license and remain insurable. Must pass a Licking County pre-employment drug screening. This is a temporary part time position for 24-32 hours per week for approximately 3 months. Some after office hours or weekend events may be required.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with experience. Part-time benefits include enrollment in the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System, health insurance plan option and paid vacation, holidays and sick leave. We are an equal opportunity employer. #IND6
