We currently do not offer Health Insurance Summary As a Front Office Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. This position is essential in supporting our commitment to high-quality patient care and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations efficiently. Handle insurance verification processes to ensure accurate patient billing. Maintain and organize medical records while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls and schedule appointments effectively. Assist with medical coding as needed for accurate documentation. Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care plans and follow-up appointments. Provide information about services and procedures to patients, enhancing their understanding of care options. Support the overall operations of the medical office by performing various administrative tasks. Lead role in managing this location. EMR Practice Fusion Qualifications EMR experience Proven experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a front desk role. Strong knowledge of insurance verification processes and medical records management. Familiarity with medical terminology and coding practices is highly desirable. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective patient interaction. Ability to operate phone systems and scheduling software efficiently. Experience with Practice Fusion or similar electronic health record systems is a plus. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
