Job Description
We are looking for a Sales Administrative Assistant to support a busy manufacturing team in Warren, Ohio. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, keeps work organized, and takes pride in helping a department stay on track. The person in this role will contribute to daily sales support activities, maintain accurate records, and work closely with colleagues to keep priorities moving forward.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate administrative activities for the sales function and help maintain smooth day-to-day department operations.
- Prepare, update, and organize spreadsheets, reports, and other business documents with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Enter and maintain sales-related information in internal systems to support timely order processing and follow-up.
- Assist the team with post-sales support tasks and general coordination needs tied to customer and order activity.
- Manage several assignments at once, adjusting priorities as business demands change throughout the day.
- Work collaboratively with team members to track deadlines, share updates, and keep projects progressing on schedule.
- Provide additional departmental assistance as needed, stepping in to resolve routine support needs and administrative gaps.
- Previous experience in administrative support, sales support, or a similar office-based role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including routine spreadsheet updates and data management.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- Clear communication skills and a positive approach to working with internal teams.
- Ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
- Experience related to order entry, inside sales, inbound sales, outbound sales, or post-sales support is preferred.
