Job Description

Overview The Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center is hiring an Administrative Assistant to provide clerical and administrative support and help ensure the efficient operation of our office. This position will handle daily office tasks, assist staff and management, communicate with customers and vendors, maintain records, and help keep office operations organized and running smoothly. This position may require working outdoors during events, as well as occasional weekend and evening hours. This role will pay an hourly wage of $16.00.
Benefits for Part-Time roles:
401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until November 20, 2026. Responsibilities Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications Greet visitors and provide professional, courteous customer service Prepare, organize, and maintain documents, files, and records Enter and update information in databases, spreadsheets, and computer systems Order office supplies and maintain inventory Assist management and staff with daily administrative needs Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information Make copies, scan documents, mail correspondence, and perform general office duties Assist customers with RV park reservations Provide additional administrative and event support as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training is a plus Previous administrative or office experience is preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to learn and use company-specific software and databases Flexible and willing to assist during events when needed Professional and friendly customer-service skills Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to lift heavy objects as needed Ability to climb stairs as needed
