Job Description

Office Assistant (Administrative Assistant) - Full-time with Benefits Lifesteps, a local nonprofit organization with its central office in Butler, PA, is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant to support the Operations and Facilities Departments . This role works a normal schedule of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday in the Stirling Village office. Candidate must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, function well in a team environment as well as complete tasks independently. The incumbent will be required to both take direction and work independently to support the completion of the department s goals and objectives in a professionally and culturally appropriate manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required High school diploma/GED and two years of administrative support experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Able to work effectively in multi-agency environments Able to analyze, demonstrate good judgment, attention to detail and have problem solving skills Competent to work with confidential information in a responsible manner Developed customer service, interpersonal and communication skills including positive phone etiquette Current driver's license and the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle Supports the mission of the Agency Preferred Associates or Bachelor s degree in a related field Generous benefit package including medical, vision and dental, paid vacation, birthday, holidays, personal appointment and sick time .
