Job Description
Seasonal Administrative Assistant Camp Hill, PA

Description SEK CPAs & Advisors are currently seeking a Seasonal Administrative Assistant in our Camp Hill, PA office. Our Admin Assistants are a valuable resource to SEK during tax season due to the increase of clients coming into our office and many documents to maintain. The ideal candidate would be friendly and professional. This seasonal position runs approximately January through April.
Work Schedule Expectation:
January - February, approximately 25 hours per week
March - April, approximately 40 hours per week
Job Responsibilities:
Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls; handle issues appropriately and relay messages.
Welcome clients and handle brief discussions related to the drop off of tax information and pick up of tax returns.
Assemble tax returns for delivery to clients.
Scanning information and tax documentation.
Prepare, review, and proof internal and external correspondence.
Sort and distribute mail. Prepare all outgoing mail, packages, envelopes, and certified receipts. May include going to the Post Office.
Maintain security by following procedures on confidential material.
Verification of data to be autoflowed into the UltraTax system.
Assist with special projects on an as needed basis.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced professional office environment.
Ability to deal appropriately with confidential information and interact professionally with clients and employees of all levels of the firm.
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
Friendly and out-going demeanor with positive attitude.
Ability to multi-task along with strong organization skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure during busy tax season and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word required.
