Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrative Assistant to support our construction team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth office operations and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, proficiency in computer applications, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Provide administrative support to the project manager. Communicate with sub contractors to schedule site work, relay material selections, and distribute pertinent blueprints. Maintain organized filing systems for project documents, contracts, and correspondence. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications. Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution. Provide customer service with project timelines, remaining tasks and important dates. Manage and order jobsite materials, set up deliveries to sites. Support project manager with clerical tasks as required. Requirements Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction industry or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and proofreading tasks. Consistent, dependable attendance. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
