full-time Temporary Administrative Assistant (3-month contract) Position Summary The Temporary Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for clients and agents, providing professional telephone support and coordinating appointment scheduling. This role is dedicated exclusively to answering incoming calls and scheduling appointments for agents, ensuring a positive caller experience and efficient calendar management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Direct calls and relay messages as appropriate. Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments for agents. Manage agent calendars and appointment availability. Reschedule or cancel appointments as requested by clients or agents. Maintain accurate appointment records and client information. Provide basic information to callers and address routine inquiries. Ensure all communications are handled with professionalism and confidentiality. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous customer service, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to handle a high volume of calls professionally and efficiently. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, telephone systems, and basic computer applications. Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling information. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Professional telephone etiquette. Strong attention to detail. Dependable and punctual. Customer-focused approach. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong scheduling and calendar management skills. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while answering calls and scheduling appointments. Frequent use of a computer, telephone, and other office equipment. Work Environment Office-based environment with frequent telephone interaction and computer use.
