Overview Are you detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable using a computer? We're looking for a Mail Processing Assistant to join our team in Mechanicsburg. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking an entry-level role where they can build professional office experience, develop administrative skills, and make a direct impact on daily operations. $18.00 per hour, Benefits start Day 1
Location:
Mechanicsburg, PA (fully onsite)
Schedule:
8-hr shift Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM-6:00 PM How you'll make an impact As a Mail Processing Assistant, you'll work in a fast-paced office environment managing electronic document requests and preparing them for processing and distribution.
Responsibilities include:
Monitor and manage requests received through Outlook email. Review documents to ensure all appropriate recipients are included. Verify information for accuracy and compliance. Help identify potential privacy concerns and ensure documents are processed correctly. Generate cover sheets and prepare files for processing through specialized mail software. Upload and organize electronic files within the processing system. Move, save, and manage files across folders in Windows. Complete repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Follow established procedures and quality standards. About You What We're Looking For Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Windows. Ability to move and organize electronic files and folders. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards. Ability to follow processes and work independently. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Required:
High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year transferrable work experience within an office environment. Ability to pass any required licensing exams within three attempts. Excellent written, verbal and mathematic skills. Working knowledge of current PC software such as Word and Excel.
