$40,900 - $52,400 Salary commensurate with education and experience Job Summary As an Administrative Assistant at BPMI, you will work under direct supervision and perform specifically assigned, routine tasks to support company operations in areas including but not limited to providing administrative/clerical support to a group of managers/professionals.
Essential Duties:
Draft, proofread, format, and issue correspondence and reports. Maintain databases; retrieve and input documents on electronic filing systems. Assist managers with calendars, acting as a delegate to organize and schedule appointments of meetings; assist with travel arrangements and expenses as needed. Proactively monitor and report on work status, commitments, and obligations using internal software applications. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries. Maintain office supply inventory and place orders when necessary. Process requests for entry of visitors and site visits. Schedule meetings/conferences; prepare agenda and presentations, make room reservations, organize the provision of necessary equipment for the meeting and refreshments, as needed. Perform special projects and all other administrative duties as assigned. Minimum Job Requirements:
Associate's degree in business or a related field from an accredited college or university. Four (4) or more years of completed education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years of experience requirements. Requires a security clearance; however, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance is required.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Knowledge and ability to use Windows and Microsoft Office software packages (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Strong written communication skills including proper grammar, formatting, and etiquette. Prior experience as an administrative assistant or related role. Team-oriented; motivated and willing to assist others. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and direction. Ability to plan and organize competing priorities, including tasks and events.
