Job Description
Description We are looking for a dependable Office Assistant to support daily front office operations for a contract position based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping administrative tasks organized, creating a welcoming first impression, and helping the office run efficiently. The successful candidate will handle a mix of reception coverage, document management, and general clerical support in a fast-paced environment. Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, pay $18-$20.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and serve as the first point of contact for incoming guests and office inquiries.
- Manage inbound phone calls, direct messages to the appropriate contacts, and provide attentive assistance to callers.
- Digitize and organize paperwork by scanning documents accurately and maintaining orderly electronic records.
- Perform a range of administrative support tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing routine office materials.
- Assist with day-to-day front desk activities to ensure smooth office operations and timely communication.
- Maintain organized records and help keep shared administrative documents accessible and up to date. Requirements
- Prior experience in an office support, receptionist, or administrative role.
- Ability to handle incoming calls professionally and communicate clearly with visitors and staff.
- Experience scanning, filing, and organizing documents with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable performing general clerical tasks in a structured office setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple routine assignments efficiently.
- Proficiency with basic office equipment and standard administrative software.
