Role Description This is a part-time, intern Administrative/Planning Assistant role based on-site in Reading, PA. The assistant will support day-to-day office operations, including scheduling meetings, organizing documentation, and maintaining client and internal records. Responsibilities include assisting with planning activities, preparing basic reports, and supporting production planning tasks such as tracking deadlines and deliverables. The role also involves communicating with team members, responding to routine inquiries, and providing general administrative support to financial professionals. The position is designed to offer exposure to financial planning practices and office administration in a professional environment. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with advisors, clients, and team members. Analytical skills and planning abilities to assist with organizing tasks, timelines, and basic data review. Clear and professional communication skills, including written and verbal communication in a business setting. Interest in production planning or workflow coordination, with the ability to support tracking of tasks and priorities. Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools) and comfort learning new systems. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in handling confidential information. Current student or recent graduate in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field is preferred but not required. Demonstrated interest in financial services or client-focused professional environments is beneficial.
