Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and personable Membership Engagement / Front Desk Staff member to serve as the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will be responsible for creating a positive first impression for visitors and members, managing front desk operations, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows. Your energy and organizational skills will help foster a friendly environment, support member engagement, and maintain efficient office management. Responsibilities Greet visitors, members, and clients warmly, providing exceptional customer service at all times Answer multi-line phone systems promptly using proper phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and providing information Maintain accurate records through filing, data entry, and updating membership or client databases Assist with office management tasks such as calendar management, document proofreading, and general clerical support Support event coordination and member engagement activities by communicating with clients and managing logistics Ensure the office environment remains organized, professional, and welcoming by overseeing supplies and maintaining cleanliness Qualifications Bilingual skills are highly preferred to effectively communicate with diverse community members Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy Excellent phone answering skills with knowledge of multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette Previous clerical experience including filing, data entry, proofreading, and calendar management Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle client communication professionally Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Join us in creating an engaging atmosphere where members feel valued and supported!
