We serve women and children through residential homes, vocational training, education, and micro-industry grants. To learn more about our organization, please visit: houseofhopeinternational.com Role Overview We are seeking a versatile, mission-driven, and organized part-time Administrative Assistant to support our Executive Director and assist with daily operations. This dynamic role is perfect for someone tech-savvy who is passionate about our Christian mission and thrives in a flexible environment. You will be instrumental in managing administrative tasks, fulfilling orders, assisting with events, and editing videos for social media. Part-Time / Hybrid During the initial few weeks training period, the Administrative Assistant would work approximately 8-10 hours weekly. After this training period, he/she would work 15 hours a week, with the potential to increase to 20. This is a hybrid role, with one to two mornings per week in the office, and the remaining hours would be remote.
Key Responsibilities Administrative & Executive Support:
Assist the Executive Director with daily correspondence, maintain organized filing systems, and other office operations.
Digital Content & Outreach:
Edit engaging video content for use across social media platforms, ministry updates, and events.
Operations & E-commerce:
Assist with product/resource management and organization, inventory, and the timely processing and fulfillment of online orders.
Event Support:
Provide hands-on support for both virtual and in-person events/fundraisers.
Team Collaboration & Adaptability:
Pitch in with light organizational tasks or emerging projects as needed, maintaining flexibility to support the ministry's evolving priorities.
Qualifications Mission Alignment:
A commitment to the Christian faith and a strong desire to advance the mission and values of our organization.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong overall technology skills, including Google Suite, Microsoft Office, donor CRMs, and video editing software.
Creative Skills:
Hands-on experience with (or willingness to learn) video editing software and creative editing for digital outreach.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for executive correspondence, donor relations, and communicating our ministry's impact.
Organization:
Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage filing systems and product inventory with a servant-hearted attitude.
Pay:
$16.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 20.0 per week
