Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Chief Academic Officer (CAO), this position provides administrative and operational support to ensure efficient workflows, accurate recordkeeping, and effective communication across departments. Full-time regular classified employees receive 23 paid non-workdays/holidays, 8 PTO days, and 12 Paid Sick Leave days per school year (July-June). Job Requirements Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a related field or position, demonstrating increasing independence and responsibility Or an equivalent combination of education and experience Basic proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Chat, or similar tools) Preferred Qualifications Experience working at The Cottonwood School Associate's degree or completion of college coursework in a related field preferred Employment Requirements SB 484 Verification Background Clearance Tuberculosis Clearance (Risk Assessment or Skin Test) I-9 Verification (Appropriate US Work Permits as required) Complete Required Mandatory Trainings for School Employees Valid California Driver's License, proof of auto insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle for required work-related travel. Travel & Driving Requirements This position requires regular travel to various locations, including student homes, school sites, and events, to fulfill assigned responsibilities. Employees are expected to use a reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel unless otherwise assigned. Employees must maintain the required licensure, insurance, and driving record standards to perform essential job functions. Failure to do so may impact continued eligibility for the role.
