We are seeking a highly organized and customer focused Administrative & Scheduling Assistant to join our New Jersey office. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, coordinating schedules, and supporting a fast-paced service operation. As one of the first points of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in delivering the exceptional service experience that Stannah is known for. Position Summary As an Administrative & Scheduling Assistant, you will be the voice of Stannah to customers after the sale. Your primary responsibility is to provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, scheduling service appointments, coordinating technician visits, and ensuring customer needs are resolved promptly and professionally. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, empathy, and the ability to interact effectively with elderly customers and their families. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a professional, courteous, and solution-oriented manner. Schedule service, maintenance, and repair appointments while coordinating technician calendars and routes. Assist customers with service requests, warranty questions, and general stairlift support. Troubleshoot basic customer concerns and provide guidance when appropriate. Maintain accurate customer records and document all interactions within company systems. Follow up with customers to confirm service completion and ensure satisfaction. Support administrative functions including billing inquiries, payment processing, and service agreement renewals. Escalate urgent customer issues to the appropriate departments for timely resolution. Prepare and maintain service-related documentation and reports. Promote customer loyalty through responsive, compassionate, and professional service. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, scheduling, dispatching, administrative support, or office coordination. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based scheduling systems. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Experience working with senior customers or within a service-based business is a plus.
