This is not remote position. You must be in the office 5 days a week We are a small, family-owned company in Fairfield, New Jersey specializing in graduation apparel and accessories. We are looking for a dependable, personable, and detail-oriented Customer Service, Order Processing & Design Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service, order processing, administrative work, and basic graphic design on Photoshop. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable juggling several different types of tasks throughout the day, and has foundational Adobe Photoshop skills. You do not need to be an advanced graphic designer, but you should be comfortable working with customer-supplied artwork, text, logos, colors, and basic layouts. What You'll Do Day-to-day responsibilities may include: Answering incoming customer phone calls and providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance Responding to customer inquiries by email Helping customers with product questions, sizing, colors, customization options, order status, and general ordering assistance Entering, reviewing, and processing customer orders accurately Working with both individual customers and larger school, organization, and institutional orders Reviewing order information for accuracy and following up with customers when clarification is needed Entering and maintaining customer, order, and related business information Working with our Magento eCommerce system to review and manage online orders Using QuickBooks for order, customer, payment, or other related business functions Using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications Preparing and making basic adjustments to customer artwork using Adobe Photoshop Working with logos, text, colors, sizing, placement, and other basic design elements for customized products Communicating with other members of our team to help move orders from initial inquiry through production and shipment Assisting with general office and administrative responsibilities as needed Because we are a small business, this is not a narrowly defined position where every day looks exactly the same. Everyone helps keep things moving, particularly during our busy graduation season. What We're Looking For The strongest candidates will have: Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor Excellent phone communication skills and confidence speaking directly with customers Strong written communication skills Good computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly Strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience with order entry, order processing, data entry, administrative work, or a similar role Foundational experience using Adobe Photoshop Comfort working with customer artwork, logos, text, colors, and simple layouts Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook Good organizational and time-management skills The ability to manage multiple orders, conversations, and priorities at once A willingness to ask questions, learn our products, and become comfortable helping customers find the right solution Software We Use Our team works regularly with: Adobe Photoshop Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office QuickBooks Magento eCommerce Previous experience with all of these programs is not required . We are primarily looking for someone who already has strong general computer skills, some Photoshop experience, and the ability to learn new systems. Experience with Magento, QuickBooks, eCommerce order management, or similar software is a plus.

Photoshop / Design

Experience This is not a graphic designer position , and advanced professional design experience is not required. However, Photoshop is a real part of the job. Candidates should have a basic working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and be comfortable performing tasks such as: Opening and reviewing customer artwork Working with layers Resizing and repositioning artwork Adding or editing text Making basic color adjustments Working with logos and transparent backgrounds Preparing simple layouts or customer proofs Recognizing when artwork may not be suitable for quality printing or production Additional experience with graphic design, print production, or preparing artwork for customized products is a plus.
