Based from an office within the Upper East Side home with meaningful remote flexibility, the role reports directly to the Mrs. and works closely with the Mr.'s office-based Executive Assistant. Personality and interpersonal judgment are critical. The ideal candidate is polished, well-spoken, discreet, and genuinely interested in building trusted relationships with the children and others in the family's orbit. After onboarding, they should work independently and remain comfortable with both detailed logistics and highly personal support. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage family calendars in coordination with school, sports, appointments, and the office Executive Assistant Plan detailed commercial and private travel, accommodations, ground transportation, dining, and activities Support three teenagers' school, sports, medical appointments, transportation, and travel; build trusted relationships and offer positive mentorship when appropriate Make about four annual trips between New York City and the family's seasonal residence, typically driving once and flying the others; frequency may vary Maintain records for three homes, including expenses, invoices, taxes, utilities, accounts, and logins Liaise with caretakers and vendors on projects, seasonal maintenance, schedules, and deliveries Advance and close residences, prepare homes for arrival, and travel for short projects in Martha's Vineyard or Utah Manage errands, returns, gifts, appointments, event planning, closet clean-outs, and personal requests Submit health-insurance claims and complete other personal and household administrative tasks Coordinate with household and office teams, service providers, schools, and medical offices while representing the family with polish
Requirements:
Legally able to work within the United States Private-family experience as a Personal Assistant, Family Assistant, or House Manager Exceptional organization, judgment, accuracy, and follow-through across changing priorities Proactive, independent after onboarding, and able to identify and address needs without close management Strong experience planning complex commercial and private travel with careful attention to logistics Experience supporting multiple residences, property vendors, seasonal projects, and home transitions Clean driver's license, confidence driving in New York City, and willingness to drive to Martha's Vineyard when required Tech savvy in a Mac-based environment; fluent with calendars, Google Docs/Sheets, Word, and Excel Interest in practical AI and automation tools that can improve organization and recurring workflows Polished, well-spoken communicator who represents the family confidently and exercises sound judgment Genuine interest in relationship-building with the children and others in the family's orbit; comfortable with highly personal tasksSchedule:
Highly flexible, full-time salaried role averaging 25-30 active hours with availability across a 40-hour week; remote flexibility and in-person work are coordinated around family needs. Location(s): New York City, primarily the Upper East Side; hybrid with a home office and short trips to Martha's Vineyard and Utah to advance or close residencesCompensation:
Up to $130,000 gross per year, commensurate with experienceBenefits:
