JOB SUMMARY
This position provides support for back-office administrative and clerical functions. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of schedules and supporting documentation to ensure the accurate billing of tuition and fees, as well as the proper application of payments. The role maintains audit-ready records, supports interdepartmental projects as assigned, and ensures documents are accurately scanned, filed, and organized. Additional related duties may be performed as needed
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide back-office support by fielding and routing inquiries via phone, email, text, and in person. Assist with Finance back-office payment operations by processing, reviewing, and reconciling specialized payment transactions, including agency payments, third-party sponsorships, employer or partner payments, and other non-standard payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely posting to student accounts. Scan, file, and maintain records to ensure complete and accurate files. Perform back-office transaction processing. Compile and organize finance and operation schedules. Protect confidential information and follow all office rules. Perform general clerical tasks (data entry, copying, filing, organizing supplies). Complete other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or equivalent Demonstrated relevant work experience providing outstanding customer service Demonstrated excellent time management skills, high learning agility, creative problem solving, interpersonal, oral, and written communications, and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Internet applications, and database software
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in an accounting office setting Experience in maintaining accounts receivable and or collections Associate's or Certificate in Accounting or Business Administration Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of any employment visa, including student visas.
