Senior Sign Operations Manager East Coast Signs & Graphics | Myrtle Beach, SC Position Overview East Coast Signs & Graphics is seeking an experienced sign industry professional to help lead the day-to-day operations of our growing sign company. This is a hands-on management position for someone who understands all aspects of the sign business, including customer service, estimating, project management, permitting, production, and workflow management. The ideal candidate has extensive sign industry experience and can confidently manage projects from initial customer contact through final installation while supporting production and equipment operation when needed. Graphic design experience is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Office Operations Answer incoming calls and assist customers with project inquiries. Serve as a primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate schedules for sales, production, permitting, and installation. Maintain project records and customer communications. Manage daily workflow and ensure outstanding customer service. Estimating & Sales Support Prepare accurate quotes and proposals for commercial and residential sign projects. Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid packages. Calculate material, labor, equipment, and permitting costs. Follow up on quotations and assist with closing sales opportunities. Project Management Manage projects from order entry to installation. Coordinate production schedules, subcontractors, vendors, and installation crews. Monitor deadlines, budgets, and project milestones. Ensure projects meet quality standards and customer expectations. Permitting & Compliance Prepare and submit permit applications. Coordinate with municipalities, property managers, and shopping centers. Research local zoning ordinances and sign regulations. Track permit approvals and inspections. Production Equipment & Software Experience The successful candidate should have experience of operating or managing production utilizing equipment such as: Production Equipment HP Latex 700 Wide Format Printer Mutoh UV-LED Printer GFP Laminator Graphtec Plotter Flux Beambox II Laser Engraver/Cutter Software Platforms Corebridge sign company management software Trello production and workflow management software VerteLith RIP Software for Mutoh UV print production Flexi
DESIGNER
design and production software Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop CorelDRAW Production Responsibilities Prepare artwork and production files. Manage print, cut, laminate, engraving, and UV printing workflows. Monitor production schedules and quality control. Performing routine equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Assist with production when necessary to keep projects moving on schedule. Managing color consistency and production quality standards. Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience working within the sign industry. Strong understanding of sign fabrication, production, permitting, and installation. Experience project managing multiple sign projects simultaneously. Experience preparing estimates and customer proposals. Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of sign materials, manufacturing processes, and installation methods. Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and CRM/project management systems. Preferred Graphic design experience. Experience with Corebridge software. Experience using Trello for production management and workflow tracking. Experience using VerteLith RIP and Flexi
