Open Until Filled This is a part-time position, maximum of 16 hours per week, with the Office of the Attorney General. For more information on the Office of the Attorney General, please visit http://atg.sd.gov . The South Dakota Office of the Attorney General and Division of Criminal Investigation has a part-time position for a Sex Offender Registry Administrative Assistant. The ideal person for this position will be organized, detail oriented, and have good oral and written communication skills. This positions works closely with the current Sex Offender Compliance Analyst daily to ensure the needs of this program are met. The duties of this position include: assisting Sex Offender Registry Staff with necessary section duties; receiving and sending daily mail; 2nd party registration verifications; assisting with maintaining the registration when needed; other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
High school diploma or equivalent GED; Valid South Dakota Driver's License; Past experience working with law enforcement and/or the court system; the ability to pass a background check; Job related experience is preferred but not required.
