Company Summary Tennessee Connections Academy is a tuition-free, K-12 online public school that students attend from home. Tennessee Connections Academy Johnson is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, the Northwest Accreditation Commission, and the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), which are accrediting divisions of Cognia. Position Summary and Responsibilities Working from the office in White House, Tennessee, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for daily administrative tasks of the school such as answering phones and email, receiving visitors, assisting the principal and teachers with administrative tasks, filing, and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Entering data into the online student information system; Generating reports; Answering the phone calls; Scheduling appointments; Speaking with Parents and Students; Managing student files and records; Interacting with vendors; Assisting with various personnel duties; Assisting with State Testing duties; Ordering office supplies; and Additional duties as assigned. Requirements Must report to the office in White House, Tennessee Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Google Suite, and web-based applications is essential Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Customer focused approach High degree of flexibility Demonstrated ability to work well in fast-paced team environment Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
