Job Description

```Duties```
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls and manage patient inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect payments
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean and organized ```Requirements```
  • Previous experience working at a front desk in a medical office or similar setting preferred
  • Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology is a plus
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Athena is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff members
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy, preferred
  • Must be flexible with schedule
  • Must be bilingual, English and Spanish fluent preferred
  • Must be punctual, and responsible
  • Able to work independently after training
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Must be able to type at least 40 WPM
