In this vital role, you will support attorneys by managing case files, communicating with clients and medical providers, and preparing documentation for upcoming litigation. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help streamline case progression, ensuring clients receive timely and effective legal support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal expertise within a collaborative team dedicated to advocating for injury victims. Responsibilities Assist attorneys in preparing cases for pre-litigation stages by gathering and organizing relevant documents and evidence. Manage client communications with professionalism, ensuring clear updates and gathering necessary information through interviewing clients and witnesses. Oversee securing relevant records such as medical and billing records from providers, open records requests, and other documents in collaboration with attorneys Utilize Clio legal case management software to maintain accurate records and streamline workflows. Review and draft legal documents, correspondence, and demands with precision, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements. Coordinate with external agencies or experts for case-related investigations or reports as needed. Handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining organized filing systems both digitally and physically. Prepare file for litigation transfer as needed Skills Fluency in Spanish highly preferred Strong knowledge of personal injury law and practice Experience with legal support functions such as document review, proofreading, legal drafting, and client communication. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal-specific software like Clio and various web based records portals Exceptional written and verbal communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Strong project management skills to coordinate case activities from initial intake through pre-litigation procedures effectively. Knowledge of procedural law requirements for civil litigation support including filing deadlines and document management standards.
