Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees related to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • May assist with payroll functions including processing, answering employee questions, fixing processing errors, and distributing checks.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, meetings, employee recognition events, and holiday parties
  • Coordinates transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.
  • Reviews purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate's degree or 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills required: o ROM Recycling Software o Payroll Systems o Human Resource Systems o Microsoft Office Suite
  • Other skills required: o Three to five years of experience in an administrative role and logistics.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills. o Interpersonal and customer service skills. o Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail. o Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. o Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. o Ability to work independently. o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. o Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word, in particular). o Proficient in ADP software, or Employee Navigator software. o Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing. o Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications. o Knowledgeable with
ISO 9001-2015.
o Bi-lingual preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Occasionally required to walk. Frequently required to sit. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
