Job Description
Perform clerical duties to help the office/center to run smoothly and efficiently. Duties include answering phone calls and emails, greeting parents and children. Completing health checks, recording inventory of childrens items..etc. Duties also include keeping areas clean and sanitized in certain areas in the center. Greet and recieve children daily. Assist in substituting throughout the day for other teachers/caregivers...etc. We have locations in Killeen and Harker Heights. Please specify what location works best for you at time of application. Key Administrative Assistant responsibilities are as follows: Assist Director with all responsibilities in the childcare center. Assist in taking children to and from classes throughout the day for arrival and departure. Greet families and visitors , respond to inquiries in a friendly and Professional manner. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, medical forms, emergency contacts, daycare health visit forms, incident reports...etc. Assist with enrollment processes, including onboarding new families and managing documentation. Preparing meals, serving meals and keeping cafeteria areas clean and sanitized throughout the day. Assist in van/bus transportation for children at the center Manage scheduling for staff meetings, training sessions and parent events. Oversee inventory and supply ordering for the daycare. Maintain a clean, tidy and organized office area and lobby. Assist with the development and distribution of calendars, newsletters and communication to parents.
Caregiver responsibilities include the following:
Provide nurturing, attentive care to children aged 0-12 years in accordance with daycare policies. Support daily routines, including meal preparation, diapering, and nap supervision. Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities and play. Monitor children's behavior and development, reporting any concerns to the Director. Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment by following health and safety regulations. Build positive and professional relationships with children and their families.Job Types:
