Job Description

General duties: ANRA is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in the role of Administrative Assistant I. This position will be responsible for answering phones, customer service, cash handling, point-of-sale operations, mail duties, and clerical support such as data entry. Ideal candidate will exhibit excellent organizational and communication skills, is bilingual, attention to detail and accuracy, and an ability to interact with all customers and staff members in a professional manner.
Primary duties:
  • Answer telephone, direct calls to appropriate staff as needed and take proper messages when staff are unavailable.
  • Perform data entry and clerical support as needed.
  • Operate a Point-of-Sale system to process all customer payments received.
  • Maintain balanced cash drawer and close out per ANRA-approved protocol.
  • Processing mail: sort, stamp, and deposit mail in appropriate location.
  • Prepare packages for shipping, schedule pickups, or drop off packages at designated locations.
  • Create, process, maintain files and scheduling for On-Site Sewage Facility Program.
  • Provide general administrative support to all departments and utilities.
