Job Description
Position Summary As a member of our support team, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the firm's team members and ensure efficient office operation to help deliver outstanding client service. You would also welcome clients/visitors by greeting them in person or on the phone. Prior experience with a professional service firm is a definite plus. This permanent part-time position is being offered to a candidate who is able to work 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. Occasionally Saturday mornings during the busy season. Hourly rate of around $21 will be offered depending on experience. Additionally, partial benefits will be offered based on hours worked in a year to be discussed. Who You Are Minimum 3 years of office/administrative assistant experience High school graduate or equivalent (university/college degree is an asset) Knowledge of basic office and administrative software such as MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and privacy Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Courteous, friendly, positive, dependable, and professional Ability to work well and excel in a team environment Experience working with document management system and paperless office environment preferred Job Responsibilities and Tasks Welcomes client and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or directing inquiries and scheduling meetings as necessary. Exhibits courteous, friendly, and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail. Maintains office/breakroom supplies inventory by checking stock, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies. Carries out other administrative duties as necessary. Training will be provided based on your skill sets.
