School Administrative Assistant Blossoming Minds Learning Studio Rockwall, TX Job Details Part-time $35 - $45 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork High school diploma or GED Working with students Time management Office experience Full Job Description Position Summary The School Administrative Assistant is responsible for helping to ensure the school runs smoothly each day. This position serves as the first point of contact for families, supports administrative operations, assists with enrollment and communication, and provides organizational support for school programs and events. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, enjoys working with children and families, and can manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and a positive attitude. Responsibilities Support the Director with daily school operations Welcome, students, families, and visitors Respond to emails, phone calls, and parent inquiries Maintain student records and confidential files Assist with enrollment, registration, and family onboarding Coordinate schedules and appointments Prepare materials for classrooms and events Assist with school events, field trips, and special activities Help maintain an organized and welcoming school environment Order and organize supplies Support teachers as needed Manage administrative tasks and special projects Utilize Brightwheel and Google Workspace for communication and organization Qualifications High school diploma required Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Previous administrative or office experience preferred Experience working in education or with children is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Comfortable learning new technology Professional, dependable, and positive attitude Preferred Qualities Warm and welcoming personality Strong customer service skills Self-starter who works independently Flexible and adaptable Passionate about education and supporting children Team-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
