Position Summary We are seeking a patient-focused Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who possesses great customer service skills to join our amazing team. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and activities under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). Implement individualized treatment plans to support residents' functional goals. Document and maintain accurate therapy notes in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure resident-centered care. Demonstrate flexibility, accountability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Required Qualifications Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the State of Texas. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support resident-centered care. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation. Familiarity with Net Health software. Commitment to delivering high-level customer service and hospitality to residents, families, and visitors.
